It was a wonderful experience to perform in the main hall of the amazing National Forum of Music in Wroclaw. Finished in 2015 the building has a area of 48,500 m2 and contains 4 concert halls.  Together with NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic and the NFM Choir I premiered the full version of Rafal Augustyn’s violin concerto Tam/Tu in the main hall (1800 seats).
Two days later I had the pleasure to give a solo recital in the Pan Tadeusz Museum in one of the old townhouses at Rynek, the main square of Wroclaw. With only 30 seats it was quite a change, but the intimate room was perfect for the detailed and refined repertoire. Among other works I played the fantastic par.ti.ta by Lera Auerbach whom I got to know during Rudersdal Sommerkoncerter last year. She is an extremely inspiring person and she and her husband and manager, Rafael DeStella, practically invented Rudersdal Chamber Players which will make its official début on May 13th.
See Lera’s recommendation here.
